The annual summer and Christmas events are also a firm favourite! So, whether it’s when working on a case, wracking your brains at a Derby Law Society quiz or battling for the ball on the netball court, you’ll see that all members of the firm come together as one big team.

Our Home

We have been serving clients from our head office in Derby for over 140 years. The city is both small enough to give a real community feel yet large enough that there’s always something going on.

Derby is considered as the ‘gateway’ to the Peak District which is full of country houses, heritage sites and quaint villages. This beautiful national park, with its extensive network of picturesque hiking, cycling and climbing paths offers a perfect escape from the city.

As the UK’s most central city, Derby is also very well connected; it’s just a 90-minute train ride to London and there are excellent transport links to Nottingham, Birmingham and most other major cities. East Midlands airport also offers flights to Europe and America.

In 2018, Derby was considered to be the sixth best place to live in the UK for young people. The nearby market town of Ashbourne was also recently ranked as the best place in the country to raise a family.
