Swindell & Pearson features again in the 2022 edition of the World Trademark Review 1000

This is the third time that the firm has been included in the guide that identifies the top trade mark professionals around the globe.

The trade mark practice group were described as “entrepreneurially minded practitioners”, and complimented on their ability to “consider both the legal and business sides of any matter to offer bespoke solutions to every client”.

Nick Womsley, the firm’s head of trade mark practice, received praise for having “spent 30 years teasing out the knots of cross-border IP matters”, and was described as “a master of bending the law to his will”.

Kieron Taylor, IP director and authorised high court litigator, was also commended on his management of “worldwide portfolios” and for “bringing the heat in disputes for two decades”.

The World Trademark Review WTR 1000 is an annual publication of top global trademark professionals and is the ‘go-to’ resource for seeking world-class legal trademark expertise. Covering over 80 jurisdictions globally, the research used comes from face-to-face and telephone interviews with hundreds of lawyers, attorneys and their clients, as well as the addition of written submissions.

This success follows on from Swindell & Pearson recently being listed as one of the UK’s top intellectual property firms in the Legal 500, where for the past six years both Nick and Kieron have received recommendations.
