Swindell & Pearson Recognised in 2016 Legal 500 Rankings
September 19, 2016
The 2016 Legal 500 rankings were recently announced and Swindell & Pearson was delighted to be mentioned as one of the UK’s top intellectual property firms with both our patents and trade mark practices receiving praise. In addition, several of the firm’s attorneys were also specifically recommended for the quality of their work.
In our patent department, Paul Higgin was described as someone who “excels at contentious matters”, whilst Scott Harrison and Martin Terry were recommended, Martin now for the third year in a row whilst Paul picked up his second consecutive recommendation. The firm’s trade mark practice was praised with “Handles portfolios as well as disputes, and its clients are routinely impressed by its industry knowledge and ability to do the work”. Dual qualified Robert Sales and Nick Womsley were recommended for their trade mark work alongside Kieron Taylor. Both Nick and Kieron were recommended for the second year in a row.
The Legal 500 rankings are an annual publication of leading law firms across regions and sectors. The research is based on feedback from over 250,000 clients worldwide, submissions from law firms and interviews with leading private practice lawyers by a team of researchers who have unrivalled experience in the legal market.
